Caldea, Andorra's thermal spa
Caldea opened in 1994 in Escaldes-Engordany, beside the River Valira. It uses the thermal water of Escaldes, which comes out at about 70 °C, for leisure and relaxation, not as a medical spa. The lagoons are at 32–34 °C.
The Classic ticket includes the large lagoon with hydromassage, the outdoor lake, the panoramic lagoon over the river, the Nordic sauna, the hammam and the Indo-Roman baths. The Premium ticket adds the adults-only spa.

Tickets are bought on caldea.com for a set day and time, and you cannot enter outside the time you have booked. Only buy from the official website: Caldea warns of fake websites selling tickets.
Caldea Premium, what used to be Inúu
Inúu is no longer sold under that name: today it is Caldea's Premium ticket. It is for over-16s only and includes the Classic area and the adults-only spa (a three-level indoor lagoon, a lagoon with bubble beds, an outdoor lagoon with a waterfall, a chromatic sauna with a salt wall and showers), with bathrobe, towel and flip-flops.
There are 3-hour tickets (from €60), 4-hour tickets (from €71), evening tickets with a cocktail (from €78) and all-day tickets (from €82). On Saturday evenings there is live music in the indoor lagoon.
Opening hours
Caldea is open every day of the year except 25 December. Until 30 November: Monday to Friday, 11:00–20:00, and at weekends, 9:00–23:00. The winter opening hours have not been published yet: check caldea.com before you go.
With children
Children under 5 cannot enter the Classic area. Children aged 3 to 8 have the Kids' Spa, with supervisors (3- and 4-year-olds can only go there).
Under-18s must always be with an adult, with a maximum of two children per adult, and you must bring a document proving their age. Children under 1.30 m tall must wear armbands (Caldea lends them).
What to bring
A swimsuit, bikini or burkini (underwear and sportswear are not allowed). A swimming cap is not compulsory, but long hair must be tied up.
You cannot use flip-flops brought from outside. With Classic you hire the bathrobe (€5.50) and the towel (€3.50); with Premium they are included. The lockers are locked with your wristband.
